my name is Lena Hiltrop. I am asking for your help to enable orphans in India a better start into their lives.

In the last years I became aware of the fact how happy we can be to grow up and live in a country like Germany.

But this is not self-evident. In many countries in the world are living orphans under circumstances that are unconceivable for us.

That is why I tried like many others to help this children by spending money to aid organisations.

Unfortunately I had to learn that this money runs somewhere which is not transparent for me. For what is the money actually used and is it used for things that are really needed?

So I went to the orphanage “Balashram” in Bombay to meet the children there and find out what is really needed to support them.

I am aware of the fact that I will not change the world but at least I can help some children to have a better start into their lives.
